SuperSport United started their first game in the DSTV Premiership at home against Black Leopards and managed a 2-0 victory.

The club’s head coach Kaitano Tembo gives us his thoughts on the match, saying;

“Look I think we had a very good start, especially before the rain, and I think the first ninety minutes we could’ve scored earlier on. But after the stoppage, we came back a little bit lethargic; we couldn’t put passes together and we played in patches.

“The goal from Bradley helped us because it settled our nerves as we started dominating the game in good areas and we were a little bit effective. The game also changed when Bash was sent off(Onismor Bhasera), but we showed character in terms of our work ethic, we worked very well and the guys worked their socks off and I think we deserve to win the game,” concluded Kaitano.

Matsatsantsa will march on with confidence in their strides after winning two in two in all competitions and keeping a clean albeit being a man short after the sending off of Zimbabwean international Onismor Bhasera.
