Bloemfontein Celtic will face nemesis Mamelodi Sundowns FC in the quarterfinals of the MTN8 this coming weekend, with this being a replay of the 2020 Nedbank Cup final.

The club’s head coach, John Maduka gives us his thoughts on the mouthwatering clash, saying;

“We are expecting a very tough game against Sundowns but with the way we’ve been preparing, we know we will be able to compete and we are looking forward to doing well for ourselves.

“Also, seeing that we lost against them in the final, we are looking to redeem ourselves, so in each game, we try to win it,” concluded Maduka.

The former Malawian international, is hopeful his side can avenge themselves after suffering a slim defeat against The Brazilians this weekend.
