Posted: 12 October 2020
Former Chippa United head coach Norman Mapeza has left his role as the mentor of Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila F.C after fifteen days in his role.
The Beautiful Game EXCLUSIVELY spoke to Mapeza, who was gobsmacked at the time of speaking to us, as he explained to us;
“(Deep sigh)…Ja, I have left the club without even signing because a lot of things are happening there. I joined the club two weeks ago when the team was in Pretoria for their pre-season training.
“Bhuti wam kunzima laphaya (My brother it’s tough there), I couldn’t stay there. I was supposed to sign for two seasons but ai ai ai, I cannot…too many things happened laphaya (too many things happened there)”, concluded Norman.
The Zimbabwean has confirmed that he will remain in the country for the next couple of days before deciding on his next move.
We can also confirm that Lamontville Golden Arrows have made contact with him in regards to their vacant managerial role left by Steve Komphela, who has since joined Mamelodi Sundowns as part of their coaching staff.
