Giroud Open To Serie A Move

The Beautiful Game’s European Correspondent Chris Wheatley recently had a chat with Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud regarding his future.
Giroud scored his 100th goal for France in midweek, becoming one of the few strikers in world football to reach the landmark on the international stage.
The former Arsenal man has had a topsy-turvy time at Stamford Bridge, and he has now, for the first time, opened up to The Beautiful Game, saying;
“My time here at Chelsea has been of mixed emotions. I always try to score goals whenever I am on the pitch for my club Chelsea.
“I received good offers from abroad in the summer, mostly Italy, it’s a league I like, but Lampard wanted me to stay and promised me minutes. I love London, I love England, but when I’m not playing, I have to reconsider in the winter (January)
“We will see what will happen in the next months here. We have a good team, young team and new players, the manager is building something special, so let’s see how it goes Chris,” concluded Giroud.
Giroud is confident he can add invaluable experience and quality to The Blues frontline this season if given the time on the pitch.
