“Prodigal Son” Returns Home
Posted: 6 October 2020
Cape Town City Football Club has confirmed that “prodigal son” Aubrey Ngoma is back at the club after an unsuccessful stint at reigning Premier Soccer League Champions Mamelodi Sundowns FC.
The midfielder returns to Western Cape after two and a half seasons away and will be hoping to kick-start his career at The Citizens after seeing limited game-time in the bright lights of Gauteng.
Ngoma left City having enjoyed one of the most successful seasons in his football career and lifting personal awards at the club’s end-of-the-season accolades. The 31-year-old will don the famous number ten shirt for the upcoming campaign.
The Beautiful Game understands that John Comitis’ side are looking to add onto their squad ahead of the 2020/2021 season.
