Erasmus On Bafana Return
Posted: 5 October 2020
Bafana Bafana striker Kermit Erasmus says he is delighted to be back in the reckoning of the national team after a long while out.
The Port Elizabeth-born striker recently signed for Mamelodi Sundowns, with the 30-year-old saying, upon his return to national team duty;
“Yeah, it’s been exciting, seeing that we have a challenge with the virus and stuff. The testing has been good, most of the guys are in camp and it’s good to see everybody back and I am looking forward to the game”
When asked about his scoring form, he said;
“Yeah look hopefully I can continue doing that for the national team (scoring goals) and to contribute positively, I am excited to be back,” concluded Erasmus.
Molefe Ntseki’s side will take on Namibia on Thursday, the 8th of October in Rustenburg, before facing Zambia a couple of days later at the same venue.
