Pitso Mosimane took his first-ever training session as the new head coach of Al Ahly on Friday night at the El-Tetsh Stadium.

The Red Devils face 4th placed Al Mokawloon on Sunday night in a league clash at the Cairo International Stadium, in what will be his first home game after being confirmed as the new gaffer on Thursday evening.

Al Ahly are currently sitting pretty at the top of the Egyptian league on 79 points from 30 games and have already won the title in what will be their 43rd triumph in top-flight football.

The match will be a dress rehearsal for the CAF Champions League, with it being the main mandate for the South African-born coach. Ahly will face Wydad Casablanca of Morocco in the CAF Champions League semifinals and Mosimane will be hoping to help the club get past their nemesis.

Jingles has brought with him his two trusted backroom lieutenants from Mamelodi Sundowns in the form of hardworking and reliable fitness trainer Kabelo Rangoaga and tactical analyst Musi Matlaba.
