The Beautiful Game can exclusively reveal that Swallows FC have extended the contract of experienced shot-stopper Virgil Vries.
The 31-year-old Namibian goalkeeper has signed a new three-year-deal with The Dube Birds and will remain at the Dobsonville Stadium until June the 30th, 2023.
We understand that his former club, Kaizer Chiefs were interested in bringing him back to Naturena, while three more unnamed clubs had made enquiries with his management team.
Vries will now look forward to the new season with renewed strength knowing that his future has been sorted out for the next campaign and beyond.
