Tinkler Clarifies Assistant Confusion

Maritzburg United head coach Eric Tinkler has clarified the situation at the club as there has been a confusion regarding his assistant coaches.

The Team of Choice recently appointed Delron Buckley as the new assistant coach, leaving Vincent Kobola’s position in doubt, however, Tinkler refutes the claims, saying;

“There are a lot of rumours floating around regarding Vincent Kabola. Vincent is still with Maritzburg United, still a very important member of our technical team and my first assistant coach,” concluded Tinkler.

The former Moroka Swallows and Cape Town City right-back will continue in his role as the senior assistant coach to Tinkler.

The club have also returned for pre-season training recently, in anticipation for the 2020/2021 season.
