Pitso: That Pitch Must Be Closed!
Posted: 3 September 2020
Reigning ABSA Premiership Champions Mamelodi Sundowns go into the last game of the season against Black Leopards on Saturday on a pitch that their coach, Pitso Mosimane thinks should be closed.
Masandawana will have to play their final game at the Dobsonbille Stadium, with Jingles lamenting the state of the turf, saying;
“The pitch helps huh (referring to the one at Loftus Versveld), but the pitch at Dobsonbille must be closed down after the league, I don’t know where Swallows is going to play.
“That pitch has a load…A heavy load, I mean you can’t pass the ball there, the pitch is not right for football guys, and it’s not improving,” he concluded.
The Brazilians will have to navigate through the “poor” pitch if their to stand any chance of lifting and defending their league title.
It is also a special year for the club as their celebrating their 50th year anniversary, and winning the “La Decima” will be a monumental experience for all those associated with the club.
