Swallows FC are going into their biggest game yet this season later today against Richards Bay and their coach Brandon Truter is counting on vice-skipper Bafana Tlakusane Mthethwa.

The 27-year-old Rabie Ridge midfielder has been a massive contributor to the rise of the Dube Birds, with Trutor saying;

“Ja look Karabo, Bafana has been massive for us this season. I think every player has his own challenges but I think it’s up to us as coaches to help them.

“Bafana is a warrior, he will put his head where others will put their boots. Going forward yes, Bafana is an integral part of the team. He picked up a knock and we hope the medical team will have him ready for the game,” concluded Trutor.

The midfielder is a proper grinder in the middle of the park, blessed with an eye for a detailed pass and developed by the famous TUKS Academy, Mthethwa will be looking to add guile in that midfield, and possibly help the team gain promotion to the riches of the ABSA Premiership.
