Joy, Tears Awaits In The NFD!

The GladAfrica Championship comes to an end tomorrow, and by 16:H00, there will be joy, happiness, sadness and tears all-round in the promotional league.

The much-coveted promotional spot is upon Swallows FC and Ajax Cape Town, the two clubs are both on 54 points and are only separated by goal-difference.

Jou Lekker Ding, as Ajax are affectionately known, have been top all season but lost their spot on the penultimate match after a 2-1 loss to JDR Stars midweek, while The Dube Birds won 2-0 against Richards Bay.

Ajax will be quietly confident as they carry in their ranks the league’s top goal-scorer Abednego Mosiathlaha, albeit suffering a groin injury, he might just make it to the finishing line for the Ikamva-based side, while influential midfielders Thabo Mosadi and Grant Mangerman are as important to the Ajax course.

Swallows FC have got key personnel in their locker, including former ABSA Premiership stars Lebogang Mokoena and Vuyo Mere, so this promises to be a nail-biting finale to the league.

On the other side of the league, it is as equally as exciting, maybe not for Royal Eagles as their already relegated and will be playing provincial football next season, while TS Sporting, legendary club Jomo Cosmos, Mbombela United and possibly flamboyant club TS Galaxy will be fighting it out to remain in the NFD.
