Middendorp: His Left The Bubble
Posted: 27 August 2020
Kaizer Chiefs head coach Ernst Middendorp has confirmed that one of his influential players has left the bubble due to an injury.
The German has revealed that Columbian striker Leonardo Castro has left the bubble due to a hamstring injury. The Phefeni Glamour Boys are left with three matches to play and they have decided to release the 31-year-old, with Middendorp saying;
“We have three games left and he has a hamstring problem so we decided together as technical team to release him,” he concluded shortly after the defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns
Chiefs next face another dark horse in the title race in the form of Bidvest Wits and will welcome back Samir Nurkovic, who was suspended in tonight’s defeat to The Brazilians.
