Middendorp: Its Mind Games!
Posted: 26 August 2020
Kaizer Chiefs head coach Ernst Middendorp believes the utterances of his counterpart in the capital are mind games. Pitso Mosimane, fresh from winning three vital points against Golden Arrows forty eight hours ago, said The Phefeni Glamour Boys have all the advantage in the world, pointing out to their superior goal difference and points tally, but the German is seemingly not buying it, saying;
“Its mind games, we don’t want to think about the past, we have our focus on our own team. We don’t have to answer to someone who is putting thoughts in us. We have our goals and it’s very clear in our minds, and we know what is at stake, not playing games…mind games before or after the game.
The disciplinarian continued;
“We know it’s a huge game and we respect everybody in the right way and we are focused on the game and that is how it is, and not doing any discussions because someone is doing it,” concluded Middendorp.
Jingles is one of the best master tacticians in destabilizing oppositions mentally with his pre and post match talks, and looks like the head coach of Amakhosi is not buying the mind games.
