Pirates’ Skipper: We Are Happy But…

Orlando Pirates Football Club captain Happy Jele says they are happy defensively but recognizes they have to do better offensively. The Sea Robbers have not scored a goal in the past five past on either side of lock down but have also not conceded since returning, with Jele saying;

“Ja, it is good for us defenders to not concede but we have to improve more on the front-line so that we can create more chances and try to score. I think so far we have been creating a lot of chances but we are not managing to score them, we just need to improve more. In terms of the defense, we are very happy to have not conceded but we just have to create more on the other side,” concluded Jele.

The Buccaneers face Baroka FC tonight at Ellis Park, who themselves are desperate for points to secure their spot in the top division next season, thus promising to be an interesting encounter in more ways than one.
