Hodgson: He Wants Pastures New
Posted: 25 July 2020

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has told The Beautiful Game’s Chris Wheatley that star midfielder Wilfred Zaha is looking for a new challenge elsewhere.

The Ivory Coast International has been linked wth a couple of top European and English clubs, with Hodgson confirming the exit talks, saying;

Wilf has made it clear ever since I came to the club really that he would relish a move and would like to move on and find some pastures new, but he is a very valuable player.

“The club realises his value and appreciates his value so really it will depend like it always does on what offers the club are going to receive for him and how they will equate that to the need to keep him or the need to satisfy his wishes and allow him to go, “he stated.

Clubs credited with an interest in Zaha include Londoners Arsenal, Totenham and German side Borussia Dortmund. The Eagles are open to selling, but for the right place.
