Pitso Bemoans Project Restart Injuries

Mamelodi Sundowns Head Coach Pitso Mosimane has bemoaned the number of injuries his side has suffered since returning to training. The Brazilians have set-up their camp in Rustenburg, where he says there a lot of injuries, saying;
“We are experiencing a lot of injuries, our training load content was designed for games starting in July. The content of training included periodisation and principles of training, and progressive loading are thrown out of window,unfortunately that is the reality and players are suffering guys,” concluded Mosimane.
The PSL hierarchy had pencilled in the 18th of July for the league to resume,however, SAFA say the league did not submit their compliance strategies. The resumption of football has now been confirmed to be the 1st of August in Gauteng.
