BREAKING: Red Bull To Sponsor PSL Club?

The Beautiful Game can exclusively reveal that Red Bull South Africa is mooted to have a major interest in a ABSA Premiership team and is looking to sponsor one of the clubs.

The energy drink company already has vast experience in football, as they currently either own or sponsor a football club in world football; Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg, American MLS team New York Red Bull and Red Bull Leipzig in the German Bundesliga. A close source at Red Bull said;

“(Laughs)…How did you know that? The CoronaVirus really put brakes on the deal between Red Bull and the club, but everything has been sorted out and all the documents have been concluded, the deal will be communicated in the media post this season or even before,” concluded the source.

Red Bull is slowly making inroads in South African football after their highly successful inaugural Red Bull Kasi Cup Tournament last year and are building on that success by sponsoring a football club in the PSL.
