Phiri Junior Lauds Kerr!

Baroka FC midfielder Gerald Phiri Junior has revealed to The Beautiful Game how it has been working with Englishman and manager Dylan Kerr. The Malawian vice-skipper joined Bakgaga at the beginning of the season and has been steady with his form. The winger has spoken to us in regards to working under Kerr, saying;
“It’s been great, he has been great, he helps a lot. He likes to play my type of football; play the ball on the ground, so it’s been a plus for me. But you know every coach has his own expectations so we just have to get to his level of expectations and keep pushing each other; I think the results have been there as well.
“He has been here for six months but it feels like two years really, he is full of banter and jokes, so it’s all fun and everything at training while we also working hard to achieve our goals at the club,” concluded Phiri.
Phiri Junior has been linked with a couple of clubs in the PSL but insists he is focusing on Baroka and hoping to help them retain their status and win one cup competition.
