BREAKING: Chiefs Release Trio!

Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that they have not extended the contracts of their three midfielders and will subsequently leave the club today. The players leaving Naturena is Tembisa-born George Maluleka, winger Joseph “Tight” Molangoane and play-maker Kabelo Mahlasela.
The club stated that midfielder Maluleka rejected a new contract offer and has been strongly rumored to have signed with reigning ABSA Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns on a lucrative four-year-deal, whilst Mahlasela looks set to join Polokwane City on a permanent basis after impressing in Limpopo on a loan deal.
Molangoane is the only player currently unattached but has been linked with a few clubs in the top-division and is not expected to struggle to find a new home.
The contracts of most players in the PSL end today, with more yet to be announced. The Beautiful Game will bring you more exits and arrivals as we get them from respective clubs in the league.

They really shouldn’t have let Maluleke go. He’s been at his best for the past few months just before lockdown.
He was really on top of his game for the club. Unfortunately, we’ve been reliably informed that he has signed a four-year-deal back in February with Mamelodi Sundowns.
