Gauteng Giants Chase Monare!
Posted: 14 June 2020
The dust has settled in South African football that one of the oldest football clubs Bidvest Wits has been sold to Limpopo side Tshakhuma Tsha Madivhandila. Wits were formed 100 years ago and were supposed to have their centenary celebrations this year; however that will no longer happen.
The Clever Boys have experienced an exodus of players leaving the club. Local publications have reported that both Deon Hotto and inspirational skipper Tyson Hlatswayo will be making a short drive to Orlando.
The Beautiful Game has it on good authority that one of the finest players, Thabang Monare is already being courted by Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United. A tug of war is expected to ensue in the next couple of days and weeks for the gifted Monare.
The buyers of Wits, TTM, have also confirmed that they expect head coach Gavin Hunt to look for new employment elsewhere as the club cannot afford him. The Beautiful Game will bring you more as we get them from our sources on the ground.
