BREAKING: PSG Sign Inter Star!
Posted: 31 May 2020
French champions Paris Saint-Germain have decided to make the loan signing of Argentine striker Mauro Icardi permanent from Italian giants Inter Milan. The French side will pay Inter a whopping £51m (R1.1b) for the 27-year-old striker.
The Argentina international was left out of Inter Milan’s squad upon Antonio Conte’s arrival last summer and decided to leave the Italian capital for the City of Love Paris, where he has impressed the hierarchy at the French billionaires.
Icardi has scored 20 goals in 31 matches in all competitions this season before Ligue 1 was called off in April, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Icardi will be hoping to lead the line alongside superstars Kylian Mpabbe and Neymar, with the future of Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani unclear at this time.
