Motupa Gifts His Village!

The Corona Virus has hit hard in most communities and villages in and around the country, and footballers in the ABSA Premiership have tried their level-best to give back, and Bidvest Wits striker Gift Motupa is no different.

The Wits’ marksman started off the good deeds in his community in Limpopo, where he gave off food parcels to the less fortunate. Asked for any particular reason why he felt doing that, he said;

“I think it’s important for people to get our help as professional footballers, the foundation is just under a year and we want to help more people. So we are proud of our work and the people we help are also proud of us”

When pressed for comment as to how long he’ll help others, he said, “Ja, it’s going to happen again, but it’s not only for this area (his village), it’s for worldwide (pauses)…I mean I’m an international player you see, so it’s not only for a certain area, it’s for everyone,” he concluded.

Footballers in the PSL have tried to help their villages and townships in and around their country, and The Beautiful Game is proud of our stars!
